Mia Manipud is a nurse practitioner working with Dr Chris Chung in primary care and sports medicine. Together they work to evaluate, diagnose, and treat their patients, providing information about specific conditions and formulating individualized treatment plans.

Mia earned her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Detroit Mercy Detroit, MI and is the first of her family to pursue medicine. “As a nurse practitioner, I want to provide personalized care for every patient I encounter and for them to feel respected and comfortable in my abilities.”

“Establishing rapport and trust with patients is essential in my practice since I want patients to be able to be comfortable/compliant with their care – it’s important to be transparent and thorough when providing information as well as having a plan of care since it is an effort to maintain and improve their quality of life.” Mia lives with her husband and their dog enjoying a variety of outdoor activities, including training for her 8th half-marathon. She also enjoys crafting and working out.
